I am not saying that the road has been easy or even a popular choice, but remaining a virgin has been my choice, and I feel like it has been the greatest decision of my life. Not only has it allowed me to be in relationships without having to stress over some of the problems that being intimate with someone prematurely brings, but it has made me more confident in who I am and the relationships that I have had.
The idea of this
site isn’t to force my opinions on anyone, or to make anyone feel bad. I just
want to encourage both younger and older women alike, who may be struggling
with the idea of waiting to have sex, to let them know that it’s ok to wait.
If
being a virgin or practicing abstinence is not the right decision for you, than
that’s your personal choice. Nevertheless, I hope that you will continue along
on my journey (and the journeys of those that I meet along the way), as we
share our stories in a judgment-free zoneJ. Some of these
stories will be from friends in similar situations, some will be from my
readers who submit their stories with the hopes of encouraging someone else,
but many will be from my own personal experiences.
Monologue
Mondays are when I post a
new story each week from my own experiences (or the experiences of others),
with the hopes of encouraging you- my readers. I hope to let you know that you
are not alone, and while the choice of waiting or practicing abstinence is no
easy feat, it’s totally worth it!
The Male’s Perspective are interviews
where I interview guys from all walks of life to provide females with a greater
glimpse into the thought processes of some men. I ask them a variety of questions
ranging from dating and waiting, to preferences and desires. As long as it
relates to this blog in any way, and it’s interesting, then it has potential.
They are usually so candid and engaging, that nothing is off limits. It’s
always a good time!
Even
though a major topic of discussion, sex isn’t the only thing that this site is
about though!!! In between those days I will provide quotes, inspirations, and
words of encouragement to you, hopefully to help build/restore your self-esteem
and confidence. You are an amazing person who is worth waiting for for however
long you choose, and I just want to remind you of that!
There will be
tears, laughter, and good times, but mostly the candid truth about our bodies,
abstinence, virginity, self-esteem, and confidence. Let’s encourage each other
and know that it’s ok to wait! You don’t have to go at this alone…everyone is not doing it.
If
you have any questions, comments, or concerns, or if you would like for your
story/question to be featured, please feel free to email me at
virginmonologuez@gmail.com.
Thanks
for checking out the site!
-Until next time-
Hello ladies I just want to say how proud I am to come across this website, this allows be to keep my strength and belief in my virginity while encouraging others to do the same. I know that the rode may seem rough some times but the prize at the end of the journey will be worth the wait. I am 21 years old and a proud to say I am a virgin and it takes all of us to spread our inspirational stories and words of encouragement to actually make a difference in people's lives.
ReplyDeleteHello again ladies, I just want to share a little history with you guys about myself pertaining to my choice in being a virgin. Well first I want to say that with the help of keeping God first all things are possible and I must say that he has helped me stay focused and stray from temptations, as you guys already know I am 21 and still a virgin because I believe that your first sexual experience should be shared with your husband/soulmate. There are times when I feel like the only virgin left on the face of the earth and tedious of not meeting the right guy yet. However for the past month I have been speaking to God and he reminds me that because I kept my promise to him he will allow me to reap the benefits of that promise. Aside from that I don't drink, smoke, don't have many friends(personal choice) and have never had a serious relationship. In fact my last relationship was in the seventh grade and now I'm in my junior year of college. I am proud to be different because it allows me to be a leader and to stand up for my values and morals. I just want you guys to know that I'm proud of all of you and that I am here to support all of you, have a wonderful day, bye guys.
